Wow, Can you believe it! Its the eighth week of the 2008 football season and the OSU Cowboys are 7-0 overall and 3-0 in Big 12 play. OSU plays the top-ranked Texas Longhorns this afternoon at 2:30 p.m. CST on ABC or ESPN Gameplan Saturday in Austin. Texas is also 7-0 overall and 3-0 in conference play. OSU's last road game resulted in a win over then-No. 3 Missouri and Texas' last home game was a victory over then-No. 11 Missouri. The Cowboys and Longhorns represent two of the Big 12's three unbeaten teams and are two of just nine unbeaten squads nationwide. The third perfect Big 12 squad entering the final Saturday in October is Texas Tech. The Cowboys are ranked #7 and the Longhorns are #1. The 'horns have whipped us the last 10 times we have played. I think we are about due for a win. I mean come on how many 4th Quarter come backs can the 'horns have in them. Go Pokes!!!! We have to redeem some bragging rights for the great state of Oklahoma, since our "friends" south of OSU choked in the Red River Rivalry game.
